Everything you need to know before working with Mojo Mesh

    Last Updated: 5 August 2026

Welcome to Mojo Mesh. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and engagement with our web design and digital services. By engaging Mojo Mesh for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

    1. Services Provided

Mojo Mesh provides custom WordPress web design, development, and related digital services for service-based businesses in Australia. Our services include, but are not limited to:

    • Custom WordPress website design and development
    • Website redesigns and migrations
    • SEO optimisation and copywriting
    • Ongoing website support and maintenance
    • Domain and hosting setup assistance

The specific scope of work will be outlined in a formal proposal or agreement provided before project commencement.

    2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth project delivery, clients agree to:

    • Provide all required content, images, logos, and brand assets in a timely manner
    • Respond to feedback requests and revision rounds within 5 business days
    • Provide accurate business information for website content
    • Ensure all provided content is legally owned or licensed for use
    • Complete payments according to agreed milestones
    • Provide clear and constructive feedback during the design process

Delays caused by late content delivery or feedback may extend the project timeline and could incur additional charges.

    3. Intellectual Property & Licensing

    Upon full payment:

    • You own 100% of the final website code, design files, and content
    • You own your domain name and have full access to hosting
    • All custom graphics and designs created specifically for your project become your property

Mojo Mesh retains the right to:

    • Display completed work in our portfolio (unless otherwise agreed in writing)
    • Reference your business as a client for marketing purposes
    • Reuse general code frameworks, templates, and development methodologies

Third-party assets (stock images, plugins, fonts) are subject to their respective licensing terms and may require separate licenses for ongoing use.

    4. Payment Terms & Milestones

    Standard payment structure:

    • 50% deposit — Required to commence work
    • 50% final payment — Due before website launch

For larger projects, alternative milestone-based payment schedules may be arranged and documented in your project agreement.

Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of services. A late fee of 2% per month may apply to overdue accounts.

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

    5. Revisions & Scope Creep

Our standard projects include two rounds of revisions at each major design milestone. Revisions should be consolidated and provided in a single, comprehensive feedback document.

Additional revisions or scope changes may incur extra charges if:

    • Requests exceed the agreed number of revision rounds
    • New features or pages are requested beyond the original scope
    • Significant design direction changes occur after approval
    • Content changes require substantial restructuring

Any additional work will be quoted separately and approved by you before proceeding.

    6. Third-Party Services Disclaimer

Mojo Mesh may integrate or recommend third-party services such as:

    • Web hosting providers (e.g., SiteGround, WP Engine)
    • Domain registrars
    • Email marketing platforms
    • Booking and scheduling tools (e.g., Calendly)
    • Payment processors
    • Analytics and tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

These services are provided by independent third parties. Mojo Mesh is not responsible for their performance, outages, pricing changes, or terms of service. You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to their respective terms.

    7. Ongoing Support & Maintenance

After project completion, ongoing support is available through our maintenance plans. Support services may include:

    • WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates
    • Security monitoring and malware removal
    • Regular backups
    • Minor content updates and edits
    • Performance optimisation
    • Priority email and phone support

Maintenance plans are billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Without an active maintenance plan, support requests will be quoted on an ad-hoc basis.

    8. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, as they cover initial consultation, planning, and design work.

    If you cancel a project:

    • Before work begins — Full deposit refund (minus any consultation fees)
    • During design phase — Deposit retained; no further payment required
    • After design approval — Payment due for all completed work

If Mojo Mesh cancels a project:

    • You will receive a pro-rata refund for any work not yet completed
    • All completed work and assets will be transferred to you

    9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mojo Mesh shall not be liable for:

    • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
    • Delays or failures caused by third-party services
    • Issues arising from client-provided content or instructions
    • Security breaches beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
